99 corolla integration relay !

IN my previous post I have had issues with my car draining the battery fairly rapidly.

I have taken the whole car apart to try to find the short to ground I must have somewhere.

I have unplugged every connector in the cabin except in the center of the dash the main bulkhead connections.

I have all connectors removed from the inner fuse panel. All connectors unplugged from the panel under hood, except the one which powers up the panel under hood.

I still had the drain on the battery. This told me it has to be somewhere between both fuse panels in the car.

I removed the connector which plugs into the integration relay and my test light went out! Plugged it back in and light came back on.

I think I have found my problem.MAYBE!!!!

I had no luck today in locating an intergration relay (BLUE) for a VE model. I did find several 99 corolla's with power accessories which had a Brown integration relay .

Can these two relays be interchanged??? Do the basic circuits still work the same with no power accessories within the integration relay itself.

If the Brown Relay will replace the Blue one and work as normal can I go that route?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a spare blue one for sale. PM me.

Brown one has an extra connector for power door/window stuff.
