removing glass paint

Hey i just want to know that after you have sprayed the foglights yellow with the krylon glass stained paint...how can you remove it?
My best thought was to just sand it down with like maybe 300 grit or so?
Any better thoughts??
thanks

Paint thinneris pretty caustic, but I dont see it messing up glass. Just make sure you take the fogs out of the bumper so you mess the paint up.

use paint thinner or paint stripper. dont sand the glass because then you might have to polish the sanding marks out of the lens and that would take some time.

Try using lacquer thinner first.

Are the lenses glass or plastic? I'd be very careful about chemicals if they are some kind of plastic. If plastic, you might have better luck wet-sanding with 1200 grit sandpaper to remove the paint, then using the DoubleHorn Products headlamp restoration kit to remove any scratches and then recoat the lenses.

Why are you removing the paint? Did it not come out very good?

If it's because you didn't get the results you wanted, but still want yellow fogs, you might look into using Dupli-Color Metalcast Yellow. Some excellent pics of the results here, and information on how to do it here.
