Corolla 2002 Burned Oil Issue

Hi folks, me again here with more questions!!!jeje

This issue with the corolla seems to be a factory issue. Regardless of that The car can burn 1/4 of new oil in 1000 miles and that is not good.

I'm looking for more information in regards of this burned oil problem.

How It can be fixed? What is the step by step process I need to take to stop this consumption????

Somebody with the same issue that knows how to solve this problem?

I'm listening....cheers!

A common issue with the earlier 1zz engine is the piston rings failing, getting stuck, etc.

If this is your problems, you will have to put in new rings, which requires disasembling the engine.

Do a compression and leakdown test to determine if this is your issue.
