headlight mod

im curious if anyone else has thought of the idea of putting either 4 h4 bulbs in the low/highs or 2 h4 bulbs in the highs for a rather custom look of 4 headlights at all times? i think itd be rather interesting but i think you would have to change the wiring, bulb length, and the angle of the high beam input due to the fact the 9005 bulb is angled upward correct? just an interesting thought..

Like the ones on the Porsche Panamera? Though technically, that is part of the "halo" lighting around the main projector.

Big issue there is DOT legality and areas that enforce that. DOT rules have changed over the years, and adopted many of the European lighting standards, but still enforce the rule of two large dual-beam bulbs or 4 smaller single-beam units for the front lamps. So you can only have a total of 4 main "beams" coming off the car. Fog lamps do not count. Auxillary lights usually fall under the "Off-road only rule".

I'd assume that fabricating the reflectors to fit within the confines of the lamp assembly (assuming halogen H4 bulbs) to help throw the light out there - so you get a useful mod out of this.
