2001 Corolla with 200,000 km
Noticed about 6 months ago that the car would surge or idle poorly right after a fuel up. After a bit of driving this will go away. The odd time the engine light comes on but does not always stay on. bought a code reader and it came up with the P0441 code. Any suggestions. I refuse to pay a dealer hundreds of dollars if I can trouble shoot and repair this on my own.
Any advise similiar experience would be greatly appreciated.

its from the evap system incorrect purge flow i have the same problem, you have to check your valves and such, go see post codes p0441 and p0446
if you read through it it becomes since your up north like me(quebec), probably rust blocking you valves for the evap system, but there also any other problem like apparently a damaged seal on a gas cap can cause that cde to apear, id sugest getting a repair manuel like me, got a hayne's from canadian tire for 20$
