Custom Grill

I recently cut out my stock grill and replaced it with grill mesh and held it on with zip ties but it looks somewhat tackky so I am wondering is there a better way to do this? Thank you your help would be greatly appreciated

That is pretty much the only way to do it on 8th gens. We don't have a separate grille like the other generations, ours is moulded right in.

You could explore using resins / epoxies to hold in the mesh. Zip ties can be less noticeable if you match the color of the ties to the mesh (ie, black mesh, use black zip ties).

IMO, unless you go the fabrication route - it will look tacky, no way around it.

I'll try to find time to post pics tomorrow. It's hard to find time to do stuff on my car with work and shit.

I cut it out to the shape of the opening and held it in with zip ties. I was thinking that if i got anither piece there might be some way i could glue it to the inside of the bumper or something. Idk. Any ideas?

I think that its a combination of cutting the mesh too small and pulling the zipties too tight leading to that wierd look.
Looks like you and I have the same custom grills, I also have the mesh with the round holes and the TRD decal on it in the same location...

Yeah, Thanks for the input. I saw yours before and I liked the look and wanted to go for that lol. Guess I got a little to close I've seen a few others like ours before too though. I'm gonna switch mine up anyways though since I'm gonna redo it.
