Transmission Fluid Leak (from hose/pipe)

On my 99 Corolla the pipe/hose that is right outside the transmission box has rusted and is leaking Transmission Fluid (see in pic).
Can anyone tell me what this/these parts are, and how much it might be to fix it?

Does it? Can they be fuel lines?

Have you been able to find out what that leak is? It looks like fuel leak to me. The fluid seems to be transparent. I am dealing with fuel line leaks on my car and your answer might help me too. Thanks.

There are no fuel lines in that area. That looks like transmission oil cooler line to me too. Stick your finger down there and feel it. It won't bite.

But you want that taken care of soon lest it takes your entire transmission with it.

If it is not rusted all the way to the transmission connection, you can carefully cut the rusted part of the line out. Once that is done you have two options. Go to you nearby auto parts store and buy a new rubber transmission hose that is long enough to reach the point where you made the cut in the rusted line. The OEM rubber line is double walled to prevent chafing so buy another new bigger inside diameter hose and slide it on the other new hose to prevent chafing.

You could also cut out the rust and splice in a new piece of hose to make up the length that you cut out. You'll need a piece of hard line the use as a nipple between the OEM and new piece of hose.

You better check the lines at the radiator because those rust out too. If they are not rusted out yet, remove the surface rust with sandpaper and apply a hefty layer of grease and the won't rust any further. This should be a regular part of getting ready for winter, and they'll last forever.
