Question Interchangeable parts

I was wondering what parts are interchangeable between the 7th gen and 8th gen rolla. I was looking for a short shifter for my 8th gen, but didnt feel like spending $135 when I could buy what looked like the same thing for only $30.

Also, as I was looking around the forum I saw a thread about which strut is best, Gabriel or KYB. I'm looking for a daily but with a stiffer ride for the occasional track use. I will also be using Tein lowering springs with the strut.

we use the same shifter as the 7th gen corolla's but ours is housed in a plastic base instead of a metal base. the interchange is also the same for the 7th gen celica. but its identical except for the shaft has a slightly different bend.

that being said. www.monkeywrenchracing.com has one for our cars for 85.00 plus shipping. try to not buy the el cheapo ebay ones. they are cheap cast aluminum and tend to break easily with a fast or hard shift.

None of those. Get Koni Yellows for adjustability. Or Tokico HP if you just want to swap out the stockers.
