Rolla Intake Removal

Question:

Anyone know of a detailed guide on how to remove the stock intake on a 2001 Corolla and install a Short RAM one?

I have the guts to do it, but I'd like some reference material.

Thanks.

I just spent a few minutes examining how the damn thing is connected. I uh...there seems to be a lot of hoses that need removed. I get the sensor part, if anything. I guess we'll find out won't we?

you should have 1 hose and the MAF sensor connected to ur stock intake box, the hose should be about 1 inch in diameter n will be for ur EVAP i believe.

So just remove the stock air box, disconnect the EVAP hose and remove the black piping connecting to the throttle body. when installing should look similar to how my car is except the bend should be going up towards the firewall. so a _| shape off the throttle body. and dont forget to reconnect the EVAP hose to the new short ram. hope that helps alittle!

It does. I guess I'm just afraid I'll pull something off that isn't supposed to be pulled off XD
