Have you checked the starter solenoid and contact points?

Have you tried putting the old plugs and wires back in?

This may sound stupid because I don't know how many post you put on here and what was said, but have you tried tightening your batt cables? Thats where I would start. Are they corroded? Then if that's not it and you have already put new plugs and wires in, did you put the proper gap on the spark plugs? .0314? Or something like that, haynes has the correct gap. And I didn't even know there was a solenoid on the 8th gen. Well I never looked for one.

Judging by the photo, one should remove and clean the battery connections and inspect the cables also remove and clean the ground connection and even the connection at the starter.

1.yes they are firmly attached to the battery.
2. no, the battery is new.
3.oh no! somebody here told me all the new spark plugs are PRE-GAPPED, and no need for a gauge, etc. so i returned all the gauges several days ago! my plugs are made by nkg btw

You would clean 'em with a Coke. The carbonated water cleans off the corosion, if any. Or you can buy a batt cable/post brush. Or use a wire brush to get the corosion off. BTW, should've known you posted pics earlier.

Mostly by the obvious surface corrosion on the clamp for the AC line and the brake line distribution block on the firewall.

Clean with coke (?) or a wire brush, if necessary coat with die-electric grease. The battery connections should be removed inspected and cleaned with a battery brush ~2$.
