For those who has a trd strut bar...is there really a difference in handling?
Does the bar feel really stiff...when i place 2 ends of the bar on each logs and step on the middle...it doesnt feel stiff and it flexes. So i was wondering is it really worth it??for 160 bucks?

I have the TRD strut bar, but I also have a lowered/stiffer suspension and Hotchkiss sway bars so I can't really say how much it helps.
Unless you plan on doing some really hard driving an cornering or maybe autocrossing, it probably won't help you that much.
i did a feeler to see who was interested cause apparently i could still get some more of these things but only 1 person is actually interested in it. not enough for me to tell my friend to order them
I bought SilverNitrate's. Haven't had a chance to feel the benefit as it could have raised my car's capability to beyond my comfort zone. Waiting to get a Hotchkis sway bar to pair it with then track it.

i can push my car further then i could before. but the indicators on my tires are up so i push to 90% instead of the full 100. if i had some new tires and a slight drop i know i could destroy corners.
at first i was thinking hum.... wont make a much of difference...............but then i found some strut bar at junk yard for $25 jack pot (there were 6 of them in good condition ) , installed it guess what. i can feel a jump of difference......its harder(heavier) when i push the corner a bit...... i'm happy that i can spend $25 to test out and see if strut bar really make a difference............
The effects of a strut bar are more pronounced if you run a wider tire. It is not a miracle device, it won't transform a chassis that is flexible as a cooked noddle into a F1 composite monocoupe. But it will definitely sharpen your steering and transient characteristics (quickly steering from one side to another). Couple that with a decent tire, performance struts and springs, better brake pads - can really transform the ride of the Corolla. Suspension and brake improvements are the best bang-for-the-buck on this car.
