Fuel filter, Screws, Depresurization

So... I understand a new fuel filter isn't all that high on the priority list, but I had some free time.

Depresurizing the system isn't going too well. I took out the back seat, opened that little hatch with all the black sticky gasket/sealant gunk, and now the screws are stuck (and about to necessitate some new screwdrivers) and not allowing me access to the "harness connector" gas-line-disconnect-thingie that Hanes says I should disconnect to depressurize the line.

Any suggestions/tricks?

Thanks,
JD

To depressurize the gas line, remove the C/OPN relay just above the turn signal flasher relay, located to the left of the driver footwell. In that area you'll also find a white jack where you would connect a scan tool to. Just feel around. The big one is flasher relay; the smaller one immediately above it is the C/OPN relay you're after.

Once C/OPN is removed, crank the car until it dies again. Your fuel rail is now depressurized.
