wobbly gear stick feel
what controls how the gear stick feels like ? When the stick shift car is new, the stick shift feels firm, gears change smoothly. An older gear stick feels somewhat wobbly like in my car.
With my 2001 corolla CE, manual transmission and 97K miles, the gear stick feels wobbly and "loose" when i am shifting gears, i know its older so obviously wont feel like new, but if i had to get it to "feel" like new, what would need to be fixed or chnaged
I have recently replaced the shifting cables, it made some difference but not a lot.
