Canada oil flush after 200k on a 98 corolla

is it worth doing an oil flush on a 98 corolla, i know i have some sludge build up but i have gotten rid of some from switching from ordinary conventional oil to semi syntech, i don't think its eveer been down on my since im third owner, but would it really be worth it to go ahead and do it, she doesn't burn much oil but with removing the cap you see buildup and its disgusting to me

I'd stay away from anything marketed as an oil "flush" or solvent. It'd do the trick, but it might be too harsh on your high mileage engine.

One or two Auto-RX treatments would work well for you. It'd clean up a lot of the gunk, without being harsh on your engine.

I've used it 3 or 4 times all with good results. My friend's Tiburon 4cyl actually got noticeably snappier after 1000 miles, likely due to the rings getting cleaned up a bit. Give it a look, it's made a good reputation for itself online.

Dump in 1/2 litre of ATF about 500 km before your next oil change drive it normally, then do a normal oil change. Repeat a few times if needed. ATF is a high detergent oil and does a good job, and no chance of harming anything.
