i've recently purchased a celica IM/TB and waiting for it to get to my door. Just a few things i need to know. can i use the celica tps and iac connections with my wiring harness? or do i have to re use my factory ones? also where's a good spot to relocate my MAP sensor? and there's a ground as well but i saw how to take care of that today
EDIT: i just tried to install the manifold and sure enough it bolts up but clearance is tight and i have some vacuum and coolant hoses that will need to be addressed. i actually dont know what to block off and what to reuse since there's less connections on the celica setup. my factory harness works fine.
I know on mine the sensors were the same, but I have a 2000. Not sure about the MAP relocation but I think Milky had a pic of where he did his. Good luck, the gains and sound are awesome.

i was hoping he'd chime in. i'll probably shoot him a pm.
sorry i was out of town for import alliance. i ended up leaving the laptop at home so i didnt have internet access. that and i spent alot of time drunk at the after parties. good times.
i use the upper port directly behind the throttle body. it was originally intended for the pcv line to route in there.
but what about those 3 hose tubes thats weld onto the bracket bolting onto the tb??What hoses goes there.I'm guessing that use the hose from the engine into those hose and then contuniung on the other end to the IM???Clueless.....have no idea what i just said.

stop. inhale. and look
its not perfect. i have a pretty bad vaccum leak. i have a slight accelerator pedal (damn wr throttle rotor) and i have other issues that needs to be taken care of. never doing this again.
Yeah, mine took a little custom work so everything would work well. I didn't have any vacuum leaks though. That bracket you were talking about was for coolant to go through the tb. Mine is bypassed so I didn't have to worry about it. The real pain is getting the throttle right...the corolla bracket doesn't work so well.
okay but wait what about the evap hose...where does that goes to and i believe there were two more other air hoses next to where the evap hose goes onto the Stock TB so where should it go....i only know where the pcv goes and this other hose from the engine.

i fixed that. little cut here, little grind there and voila. i did have to adjust the cable. and i think something's up with my PCV cuz the hose is being sucked shut in the middle (but silly me i have to hoses combined to make one) I got a CEL from something probably the pcv. or the EVAP hose i have VTA. other then that it sounds angry. very angry.

In bed now. Take pictures or a video to try to help you out in the morning.
I was talking about those 2 other hoses in the red circles and the evap is the red line and they are below it.I wonder what those two hose r for...i know its something with air right and not coolant that goes in there????
Anyways if i swap the IM and TB to a celica one, where would those two hose be on the celica ones and if there isnt then those two hose from the engine would be left out no where to be plug in.That was my point.
