2001 Corolla Stereo Issue

Hi All,

I am newbie at car repair. So please forgive me if this is a dumb question.

I have 2001 Corolla LE and couple of days back, Radio/CD player (factory default) suddenly quit working. The display on Radio/CD player is blank as if it has no power and pushing buttons doesn't activate the player.

The clock above CD player seems to work fine. I checked fuse underneath storage cabinet (on left of steering wheel) but fuse appears fine too.

My question:

1) Is there any additional fuse that is line with stereo?

2) Is it possible that any of the cables are loose?

3) How do I remove stereo from center console?

not shure about fuses and stuff but you should be able to pop the dash trim off from somwhere i know on mine i just had a cassete player and it was the trim right under the cassete player after you get the trim off there should be 4 screws
