Having some work done, Price check

Im having some work done to my car and wanted to get a price check for all this.

I brought my car to Meineke and they quoted me $350 for:

-New front pads.

-New front rotors.

-Rear brake drum adjustment.

-New muffler strap because mine is falling off.

-I have a bubble in one of my tires so i gotta replace that-$75 installed balanced ,etc. I have higher end tires on my car so there a bit more.

So all in all $435ish.

Also, I want to buy these struts. Is this something i can just bring to a mechanic and he will put on for me or will they give me a hard time saying i need more parts etc?

What do you think?

Im thinking i could do the pads and rotors myself and get better quality cheaper...
