Hello All,
I searched through the forums and I am not able to find any post on the three pieces / parts - one black rubber ring, one metal ring and a small damaged black piece which seemed to be attached to the rings.
These pieces or parts are attached to the end of the internal cigarette lighter socket on a 2000 Toyota Corolla VE. The following photo is showing the current state of an internal cigarette lighter socket where the parts come from:
I am trying to identify the three pieces sitting next to the left of the cigarette lighter. These parts were loose, so I clipped them out with a tweezer. What role do those parts play? If I put a GPS adapter into the socket without those parts, would it blow the cigarette lighter fuse?
I do not remember how to put these parts together, and I am not able to put those parts back into the internal cigarette lighter socket.
Thanks for all the responses and helps in advance. Here are the two photos:
If anyone can take a photo of an internal socket of the 2000 Toyota Corolla VE for a comparison purpose, it would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Corolla Dude
