Tein front strut mounts

i ordered front strut mounts from tein cause they said it will fit oem style struts and springs. now they say they wont fit after i already paid for and waited fior them to arrive.

my question is, in my Haynes manual, it shows the 93-97 corollas having seperate spring perch and top mount assembelies, but if i remember on my 98, the top mount and spring perch are one peice. can i just use the spring perch from a 97 corolla with the tein topmounts on my 1998.

pics of a 93-97 strut assembly compared to some pics of the 1998 would be awsome.

7th gens and 8th gens have identical suspension setups. There are no differences.

thats what i thought, but when i flip through my haynes manual, iot says that the diagram shows 97 and earlier stut assembelies, 98 and newer are similar. it looks like the difference is seperate spring and top mount on 97 and earlier, and on the 98 and newer, they spring seat and top mount are one peice. i'm gonna go to parts store and see what part nuimbers i come up with.
