Canada manual transmission lube change, almost

so I got the tools the fluid and started, got the drain plug free but did not drain, went to the fill plug, the thing will not even budge, so now I m stuck, can't get the fill plug off so I can't drain the thing, can anyone recommend something here, even tried removing the battery to get some more room to us a longer bar, but there is'nt enough room under there to move the bar, I do not want to have to take this thing to the stealership!!

they are usually on there pretty tight. try jacking up the car really high and going at it from the bottom.

Yes you need to put it up on a lift or something. And it is probably a good idea to check the fluid level before you drain the transmission. Also it is next to impossible to replace the fluid without a gear oil pump.
