Lightbulb Where are all the VIN #'s located?

I'm interested in buying a 2001 Corolla and I wanted to know where all the VIN #'s are located besides the fenders and the hood. I recently saw one and couldn't find it on the hood nor on the driver-side fender. What I find weird is that it had VIN #'s on the area where the body is curved to make space for the rear tires (between the door jams). Is this normal? It's close to the black thing on the very bottom part of the picture.

Thanks
Carlos

The hood and fender must have been replaced or repainted. The VIN is required to be placed on all major components of cars sold in the US by most manufacturers. Low volume specialty manufacturers are exempt.
