Is this normal plug wear? pics

I've posted before on excessive oil burning on a 2002 Corolla S. I just did my first spark plug change and wanted to see if this wear is normal, and get any opinions on the cause of the oil burning.

I pulled the PCV valve, shook it and it rattled (which I hear means it's still good). Anything else I should look for?

I looked in all 4 cylinders to see if I could see anything. I didn't think it looked too bad. Cylinder #1 looked pretty dry, as well as #2. Cylinders #3 and #4 I could see some dirty oil. I don't even know what it's supposed to look like in there

The plugs in the pictures were put in 1 year ago (+2 weeks), and 9,000 miles on them. Left to right, cylinders 1, 2, 3, 4 in all pictures.

Looks more like additives in gasoline, use seafoam or something else in there? If not, then its what bitter said.

I have been using MMO for the past several months in gas and the crankcase. I'm going to do an oil change this weekend and start an Auto-RX cleaning cycle.

It's been burning about 1qt. every 200 miles. I have to check my oil weekly, and at every gas fill up. I hate using that much oil, but it still runs great, and my gas mileage is nothing short of fantastic. I still get 39mpg highway, and 32-34 city.

No blue smoke and no leaks! Toyota can't figure it out, they just say it's using oil internally.

That's from 9000 miles of use!

Yeah, plugs are definitely oil fouled - the thick white deposits are from the ash in the motor oil. Have you tried switching to a high mileage oil or full synthetic? Couple of them look like the ash could have completely bridged the gap between the ground strap and the electrode - that would cause misfire - which would further cause oil consumption (unburned fuel gets mixed in the oil, thins it out, makes it easier to burn).

PCV valve can rattle and still be bad (weak spring) - since they are so inexpensive, I'd just go ahead and replace it.

Did you even have a compression test done on the engine? Be curious on what those numbers are like.

I've tried higher mileage oils and they made no difference in the oil consumption. After I do the Auto-RX cleaning I will switch to full synthetic to see if it makes a difference.

They did a compression test the last time I had it in. He showed me the numbers, although I don't remember the numbers exactly, but they said the compression was fine.

I used b12 once and seafoam twice at different times within 84k miles and all my plugs looked slightly cleaner than your #1 plug when I replaced them back then. Mine burns about a qt of dino around every 1,500 miles or so. Hopefully the AutoRX will help. I'm going to do that soon also.
