coil pack bolt thread stripped

I have a 01 corolla with the coil over plug design and one of the bolt that holds the coil on the valve cover is stripped... Not the bolt itself but the threads inside the valve cover... How can I fix this?

I would try a Napa store, they usually have a pretty good assortment of hardware. Too make things simple, I would bring in the old bolt with you and ask for an oversized self-tapping screw/bolt.

well i went to NApa and they told me they had no self tapping screws of any kinds. However, i remembered having a 9th gen coil pack bolt that i got from the dealer. Went home and tried it out and it works for me. Seems to be a little longer so i guess it goes down past the stripped part. Just wanted to follow up with that so others would have another option to try. buy the way the bolt cost about a dollar so there is not much to loose in giving it a try.
