So I put Tien S tec springs and kyb gr2 struts all the way around and the car is too low in the back... It was supposed to be lower in the front but i don't know what happend.. With the stock steelies it would be fine unless cornering hard or going over bad bumps on country back roads. But I put some 18s on and the back rubs on bumps especially when there's people in the car. I had the rear fenders rolled and it helped a little but I need some sort of spacer for the back big time. I mentioned those circular coil spacers you can put at the top but a mechanic at a shop said that those can screw up your springs because the spring won't fit correctly in the groove on the spacer like it does in the strut. Then he mentioned some other type of spacer that he said he could pick up at any shop and it would work. Does anyone have any 2 cents on this subject and what I should go about doing? I had the suspension put on a few weeks ago and the guy at the shop said it was put on correctly and it sags in the back. It makes no sense because the kit said it drops the front lower than the rear. Any help would be appreciated!! thank you!
Ok I think I found a solution, the rubber spacers you can put in between the springs. But does this ruin anything when you do this? Or is it a safe, easy way to raise your car.

Did you check the ride height to verify that the rear is actually lower than the front, or are you going by the gap in the wheel well above the tire?
If you checked from the ground to the body in each corner and the rears are consistently lower, you could have a blown strut, damage spring, or bad install.
If you just measured from the wheel well - then it is normal. Mine looks like the rear is an inch lower than the front (just looking at the fender), but if you measure the actual height, they are even. Just an optical illusion.
As for the rubbing, not a whole lot you can do about that. Tein S.Tech springs are a little more than 2" drop around, assuming you got an 18"x8" wheel? That is a little too wide for the car. Even rolling the fender will not help completely, you'll have to add camber plates to tuck the wheels in at the top (more negative camber) or dump the Tein springs for better springs (Tein tend to run a little soft, compared to other springs in their drop range).

I was going by how it looks. It's made weird I guess where the rear fenders are lower and it makes it look like it is riding low in the rear. It's in the shop right now but when i get it back I will measure the height to make sure. Maybe I can just put the rubber spacers in when I run the 18s and take them out when I put my stock steelies on for the winter? I'm fine if the ride isn't the greatest I just dont want to damage anything. As long as the spacers don't damage anything I'm probably fine. The biggest is the fear of blowing my tires from the rub and I also want to eventually put subs back in my trunk.
Oh and I forgot how wide the 18s are, they are pretty narrow with really low pro tires, they were previously on a kia which probably wasnt dropped so they worked fine. They are perfect in the front, it just rubs the fenders in the back and sometimes bottoms out.

Well my cars still in the shop because the clutch is taking longer to be shipped, i don't even have tracking number yet . . i just got the MWR flywheel today and I ordered both the clutch(assaultech.com) and flywheel(monkeywrenchracing.com) last Saturday night. These are both being put in when the clutch comes in so it should be done by end of this week or beginning of next week.
Is it possible to put those rubber spacers in by myself tho? I looked online for some and they seem to be universal like the link below. It says its for 5" and 5.5" springs. Is that what corolla springs are? Is it alright that I just put them in the back also because it says it increases spring rate by 100lbs.
Got spacers in the mail really fast shipping from the company that's on the coil spacer. Will try using for the time being so i can maybe put my subs back in and not worry as much about having passengers. They are an inch and I have heard they can settle to less than that. It will help in the winter also to keep my muffler n stuff higher off the ground.
I will also post how the car feels after the install if anyone is interested.

sorry to dig up this old thread. what was the outcome here, did it work? im havng a similar issue, my rear is about 1" lower than the front (measured from center of wheel to fender) and this is on brand new eibach/tokico combo on a 2000 solara
