three error codes. :(

My mom's car a 2000 corolla with the vti engine. It had the engine light on for pretty well the last 3 months. Finally got my hands on a scan tool. It came up with three codes:

P0446 - Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit
P0440 - Evaporative Emission System
P0441 - Evaporative Emission System Incorrect Purge Flow

Do you have any idea on what i should start to inspect to try and fix this problem.

so i've done a bunch of seraching on the site:

turns out it can be the raw fuel from an over fill, damaging the charcol canister. But most likely it's the gas cap or the VCV vaule that is close to the gas tank.

we had 0441 (I think) and 0446 on our car for 8 years! Drove fine. Replaced gas cap ($12) and CEL cleared
