Hi! I post again in the correct place... I thought mine was 9th gen, but is 8th gen instead (YEAR 2002, NOT 2003). I repeat myt problem...
Itīs a
Corolla D4D 116 hp. I must say I am very happy with it. Passed the 200.000 kms and almost no problem.
Now I have a sound when pushing the clutch pedal (its sounds as a poorly oiled hinge).
I went to a
Toyota dealer and they told me that in the movement of the pedal there were 2 metal tips and a spring that needed to be replaced. Cannot afford the cost (330 euros). They lubricated those parts, and the sound disappeared for 10.000 kms, and now has appeared again. As I cannot spend that money I am trying to solve it on my own...
Can anyone help me? I would be glad if someone can give advice. I have read in other forums that the easiest way to reach those parts is removing the dashboard... has anyone removed the dashboard?
Thank you very much for your help
