High brake light bulb

How in the world do I get access to the 3rd brake light that's up behind the rear seat? There doesn't seem to be any way to get the little 'box' off the rear deck. Also, what bulb does it use and how many? One website told me 921.

You're talking about the bulb sitting at the back of your rear windshield? I found that the only way to get to it in my car (2001 Corolla S) was to remove the entire felt cover. I was doing some speaker work and in the process I removed it.

Though my car has the spoiler tail light and not the internal one. I'm sorry I don't know what bulb it would take.

You need to check in the trunk for 3 clips.
