control Arm?

I was wondering if a bad control arm will cause the car to vibrate from the front to the steering wheel or it will only effect your steering problem?i was thinking about buying a new axle because an axle can cause it to shake because of the u/cv joints.

I've tried the basic stuff i could like switch tires...re balance and rotate front to back and side to side.all the treads on tire r still perfect and nothing wrong.

Have your jacked the front and let idle in gear and see if it shakes.
Could be a slipped belt in the tire.
Not control arm.

everything is fine now...after switching new rims and try it on highway, it was smooth and then tried my old rims again and it ran smooth again.No clue how it happen.
