radio not working

Hi, I am new here & want to say hi to everyone, & thank you in advance.
My mother has a 02 & the radio comes on ( power to the volume, tuner & lights ) but no sound, no cd power & the 12 volt power plug between the seats doesn't work. Is there an internal fuse in the radio?

If the internal fuse is blown, i don't think you can get any power to the radio at all.

Thank you bail_w, I found the problem.

The positive battery pole was corroded, after I cleaned it the radio worked.
