had keyless entry and remote start installed!

Had keyless entry and remote start installed in my 98 ce! Pretty excited because i don't have to go through the hassle of manual locks and remote start works with my 5 speed. In order to engage the remote start there's steps while cars on, neutral, e brake, press start button on fob, get out shut door, wait ten seconds, press lock and car shuts down. then hold the start button and bam it starts.

Oh, I also bought ambient air temp sensor for the new speedo/tach i installed. I just plugged it in basically right behind the toyota emblem in the front of the car and it read. 18 degrees burr. It's nice how things are prewired and similar between all models even though they dont have the option.

-3°F this morning when I woke up. Hadn't started it in a few days, so I added a bit of oil and started it up. Cranked for a good 10 seconds and finally turned over. I need to clean my battery terminals!

I have a Viper 160XVL system, and it's the best I've owned (only my second car with remote start). I can hit the start button twice after the car has been running and remove the key and walk away, leaving the car running. Super handy feature. Having a remote start on a manual is nice too, glad you were able to find a system that works for you!
