Help me identify this part (99 Corolla)

Hi all, first time poster. I own a 1999 Corolla, and have been having a Check Engine Light and PO446 code.

After much troubleshooting my mechanic has narrowed it down to a defective "Vapor Pressure Sensor," which is a small circular part he removed from the Vapor Canister. The part is ~3 inches in diameter.

The trouble is, these EVAP parts seem to go by different names. So I'm trying to identify the exact part name and number, and whether it's otherwise known as a "Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid."

I took photos of the part, and have posted them here:

Could someone take a look and help me identify the part? Thanks in advance.

Below is a picture of the vapor pressure sensor. The part in your picture is some sort of check valve which is only serviced with the canister assembly from the dealer. Here is also a picture of the canister assembly, Rock Auto has them for about $250.00

Thanks. But I am hoping to avoid buying a whole new vapor canister, which is very expensive. Is the part in the following link not going to be the correct part?

This is not the part that you stated that your mechanic had diagnosed as the culprit. The link you have attached is for a vacuum switching valve and not a vapor pressure sensor.

I am afraid that dorman is correct. The vapor pressure sensor is not shown in your illastration. The piece that you show, in only available with the canister.

I do sell Genuine Toyota OEM parts to TN members for 30% off MSRP and I only charge actual shipping costs plus $2.00 to cover materials, etc.

In this case, the $294.48 canister would run our members $206.14.
