Sounds like a MAF issue. Do you have a check engine light on?

Need a bit more information:

What year is the Corolla? I think in past posts, you mentioned a 1999 and 2000 Corolla, this one of those cars?
What is the maintenance history of the car?
Any work done to the car before this happened?
This power loss just stated suddenly or happened gradually over time?
Notice anything else other than the CEL when this happens, engine shake, smoke, burning smell, etc.?
Since they are misfire codes, did you pull the plugs and read them?

If P0301 was not there, try swapping coil units and see if it is a case of a bad coil (CEL will follow the bad coil). If cleaning the MAF and looking for any vacuum leaks doesn't fix this issue, try running fresh plugs. If this is the 2000 Corolla you posted earlier about, I seem to remember that it had a pretty bad oil consumption issue? Was that ever resolved, what kind of oil consumption are we talking about, how many miles for every quart of oil burned? If it was really bad, engine could be toast.

This is a 2000 toyota corrolla and its in good shape nothing is wrong with the engine. Basic maintance really flushed engine. oil chnage every 3k air filter change nothing major. The shaking suddenly started happening.Well earlier i started the car and it shuts off then restarted it again it let it heat for about 10 min then as i press the gas car was clunkin as if sumthing was holding it back.. like its really trying to speed up but something is holding it back then it shakes as if its about to die then speeds up then it does that over and over.So do u guys think its the MAF ? or BAD SPARK PLUGS ? or cylinder problems ?. Im not relying on the Code right now because the tech at autozone i dont think he read it properly becuz it seems like it was all new to him.as if it was his first time learning how 2 use the machine. and the last job i had was yesterday i had them put a rebuilt alternator and oil changed. Any suggestion will be gladly appreciated. & BTW is the MAF SYSTEM DIRECTLY BEHIND THE AIR FILTER on that lil box ?

it might be your OCV aka your vvti solenoid u did mention that it is a 2000 which comes with vvti and vvti kicks in at around 2000 RPM so that may be your problem.

Reading a code off an OBD-II reader isn't hard. He might not know what they mean, but telling you the numbers isn't hard.

The MAF is right after the air filter, well before the throttle body. Two self tapping screws hold it in, so use a magnetic screwdriver and be sure not to lose them. Pull it out and clean it (do this with your negative terminal disconnected so your ECU resets), make sure it's dry then reinstall it. Start it up and see if that helps.

Your electrical timing could be off as well. I would check that in addition to cleaning the MAF.

So i cleaned the MAF system with one of these MAF sprays. i didnt disconnect the negative terminal becuz i didnt know i had too but i felt the difference the car wasnt holding itself as much as it did last time and it now goes above 2 rpm.But something is still off it just dnt ppick up like it use too.I might be bringin it to the mechanic sometimes next week :-(. BTW have one you guys eva changed a lower control arm ? & is it a wise buying it from ebay or sumthing becuz i see there a lot cheaper ?

Reset
The
ECU

Disconnect the negative terminal for 10 minutes, reconnect and let the ECU relearn with a clean MAF. Your CEL may even go away.
