1999 Corolla CE Problems

So i just got my corolla a couple of months ago, and recently just put in a new battery...I hadn't driven it for about a week, and when i went to go out and start it up, I got NOTHING. No clicking or anything, the interior lights for like the speed didnt even turn on. It appears to be dead, the locking buttons wouldn't work either.

A little background history: My car was working fine, then i had someone put in a new battery, and my radio and dashboard clock didn't work(dont know if the fuse blew or what), and now it seems as nothing turns on....HELP!!!??!?!?! Could it be that i need a new system fuse? not very good with cars, so any help would be great

Make sure the battery cable terminal are nice and clean. I've seen cars with new batteries and alternators still not work because people didn't take the time to clean all the connection.

If the radio and clock stopped working immediately after the new battery was installed, chances are they blew out at least one fuse in the process. Did you drive it after the new battery was installed? Possible they hooked up the polarity incorrectly, which would cause all sorts of problems (rear expensive diagnosing).

Double check the battery is hooked up right - negative terminal to the negative post, positive terminal to the positive post. Also verify that the new battery has power - sometimes you can get a dead one right off the shelf, if it sat around too long. Voltmeter would come in handy here, as well as help with diagnosing this issue.
