does this sound like bad ignition switch?
ok my sisters corolla wont start, when i turn the key to acc, or on. there's no power at all, and its making a beeping sound that's different then normal when the key's in. its alot lower sound and a little bit faster of a beep. i cant even take the car out of park with the key turned. also im only getting .25 volts at the ignition fuse and the acc wire at the switch.
another thing sometimes when i put the key in. it makes the normal beeping tone, and the open door(with door open) light comes on(still no power though) but normally it makes that fast beeping sound with no lights on at all.
sounds like a bad ignition cylinder or switch to me. anything else it could be before i buy the part?
any help would be appreciated.
