Lightbulb Tune Up....

just one final question to get my latest addition to my car family rolling for these ridiculous gas prices!!

Here's what i've done so far:

New gas cap
radiator cap
oil cap
air filter
motor flush/oil change/oil filter
pcv valve
replaced ALL vaccum hoses/lines
new ngk plugs/new spark plug wireset
transmission drain/fill
trans filter/gasket replacement
radiator drain/fill
MAF cleaning
engine shampoo/degrease/wash
RXP (with full tank of premium fuel)
R134a freon top-off
windshield washer fluid top off

what else am I missing? i think i got all of it, but i'm sure I missed a thing or two there. I normally drive a 4x4 Nissan Titan ($78.39 to fill the tank), so I"m using this newly acquired corolla CE as my DD. gas here in Texas is "supposed" to peak at 5 bucks a gallon here pretty soon - of which i'm sure will end up happening. rolling in the rolla' should ease the pain until i get my motorcycle.

if i'm missing something as far as the tune up, lemme know

thanks!

What brand and type of new ngk plugs/new spark plug wire set did you used ?
Where did you got them from ?
Which stores have reasonable prices ; on-line store or local auto parts stores ?

I am planning to do the same kind of tune up on my 00 Corolla (DD) at which just crossed 90K.

Any suggestion or feedback is appreciated.

Thanks

i got NGK platinum plug (DENSO or NGK are recommended). I got BORG-WARNER spark plug wireset from Oreilly auto parts. you can get some cheaper ones at autozone, but I've heard bad feedback from them (cheap silicone, materials) and would rather go to napa, oreillys or pep boys (advance auto parts is good too).

shop around dude... my MPGs went up!

Balik,
Your car does not have spark plug wires. It has "coil on plug" ignition.
