Trying to replace the LH Handbrake cable on a Corolla SE 16V 1332cc first registered in 2000. Cannot locate a replacement cable - have ordered 3 cables based on the number plate and all come back with the same cable which has a plastic flanged piece with two threaded screw holes for attaching to rear of drum. The model I have the cable has a metal spring clip which locks into place when pushed home through the rear of the drum. Local dealer has been most unhelpful can only order one part but can't guarantee its the correct part at 3 times the price. Does anyone know a part number or supplier that may be able to help?? Thanks
