No Tether Anchor_1999 Year

Hello,

For some reason, I can't find my original thread, so I'm posting it again. I was trying to upgrade my child's booster seat, but my 1999 Corolla does not have Tether Anchors.

My child is 3 1/2 years old and is in need of next level car seat booster. How would I rectify this problem?

Get the anchor from a dealer, or go find one from a 2000-02 in a junkyard. The bolt hole for mounting it is already there. You need to feel for the hole from the top, then poke a hole there in the fabric. Once done, screw in the anchor and tighten it. Your manual should have this info.

Remove the headrest before using this anchor.
