need help finding turbo manifold

I cant find it on universal kits. i found two on the vivid racing site but i dont want to spend so much on the turbo kit. also, can i put an turbo exhaust manifold from another engine type (i.e.: celica, ae111, mr2)? If anyone knows where i can buy the turbo with the exhaust manifold, let me know. my project is on its way

What manifold type were you looking for - if it is a the log type, then ones for the 7th gen Celica GT, 1st gen Matrix and Pontiac Vibe, and 9th gen Corollas ones can be used.

Also depending on your budget, if you want to get a nicer manifold - hit up Monkey Wrench Racing, one of the few places catering to the 1ZZ-FE/2ZZ-GE family of engines, see what they will charge to build one up for you.

Or get a flange from them and have someone weld one up for you. A decent shop can TIG weld up a nice tubular type manifold for less than $300. Depending on how it will be installed, who will be doing the work, a custom piece has some great advantages. Even cast ones vary in price from $200-$300, depending on who makes it - so we aren't talking a huge difference in price.

Exhaust manifold is one of those very simple components, but is also very critical to the success of a good turbocharged project. Something you don't want to skimp on too much.
