Might want to call a glass shop and see how much they charge for that - might be cheaper than you think (have to factor in time, getting the part, warranty, etc.). But DIY is not too bad, lot easier than doing the front or rear windshields.
I've seen people replace that little piece with the door window still in place and with it removed. The factory service manual has you remove the main window. If you want to try and keep the window in there - roll the rear window down first.
First you'll have to remove the division bar that runs between the smaller rear window from the main rear window. Have to peel off the interior panel to get at one bolt. The other are on the ends of the division bar. I believe those are Torx head, but can't remember off the top of my head.
Once that is out, you'll see the weatherstripping to pull off / peel back to get at that vent window. Depending on where you get the replacement window - could come as just the glass or as an assembly with the weatherstripping already attached.
