Car won't stay on with Remote Starter

Having a problem with the remote starter. When I push the remote starter button it starts the car but then it dies and then it starts again and it will keep doing it over and over again. I did have to disconnect the negative side of the battery. That might of messed things up. Any help with fixing this problem would be a appreciated. The car is a Toyota Corolla 1999 CE Thanks

well based off the remote start in my 1993 for ranger i would say the computer for the remote start might need resetting or something along those lines. the only problem i had with it had to do with loose connections or broken connections so that should be some thing to look into. mabey reset both of the computers by taking a battery cable off.
