It will fit. Just note that 98-99 used a MAP sensor and 00-02 used the MAF sensor. Also note that the filter will sit right next to the exhaust manifold. I have the Injen one but want to get a ELP CAI locally.

The only problem with the Injen intake is that the filter sits right over the exhaust manifold so it just inhales hot air; totally defeating the purpose of an intake. I put one on my 'Rolla and it hurt performance so bad I took it off after 2 hours and went back to my stock airbox. I put in a K&N filter and it does better than the intake ever did.

My humble opinion? Don't buy one.

Ha thanks for the tip. Too bad there is no CAI out there. What a shame...

There is the ELP one but its discontinued. So you gotta wait for someone to sell it. Or you can build your own

I gotta agree with Salty_Dog. I really didn't want to believe that my eBay short ram intake w K&N cone filter was bogging down my 'rolla but it was. I got a K&N drop-in filter from Advance today and replaced the stock air box. So much better. I can feel the power in the low-rev range restored.

Not sure if there is any truth to this, but I've read that since our Corolla's have MAP sensors the mods to the intake wouldn't have any effect anyway.
