blowing fuses (radio)

I went to put a box in my passenger floorboard of my 2001 corolla and grazed the right knob on the factory radio. It blew the fuse on the radio. I figured the radio is fried so I ordered a new head unit from Crutchfield (I have wanted a new one for HD radio and Ipod use.)

Today I removed the radio and put a new fuse in and it immmediately blew the fuse. I'm not sure how to trace down the short. The radio connectors look fine. Is there another relay or something to look for?

Thanks for any advice.

I figured out what was causing the problem. So simple it was embarrassing.

I was so sure the issue was caused when I hit the radio that I never bothered to look at the dome light, even though I knew it was on the same circuit.

When I did remove the cover the bulb was cocked sideways and touching the metal trim "trace" that goes around part of the dome light fixture.

The new radio is sweet, I didn't think the stock speakers would sound so good. Radio reception was greatly improved and it's a much nicer way to listen to my ipod/phone.
