coilovers??

Hey I was looking at getting some coilovers for my 1999 corolla le.. I was looking at the k sport ones just for my daily driver.. but everyone say they so stiff but can't you adjust the stiffness??

No because the adjustment to the soft setting causes stiffness ..

No Buenos to the daily Guy..

Coilovers are purposefully firm to reduce body roll when cornering. That's just the nature of the beast. You can get custom ordered lower spring rates, but it would defeat the purpose of getting coilovers in the first place for the handling performance improvement.

If you just want to slam your car and maintain a relatively comfortable ride (compared to lowering springs) get Ground Controls and Koni Yellows.

The ride height you select will be a larger determinant of whether you can take bumps than the stiffness of the spring rates.

Ground Controls also offer an option of custom spring rates so you can select the degree of stiffness you want to have.

Now with the ksport you can supposedly adjust the night with out adjusting the spring rate
