Window problem

So my rear left (driver side rear) window isn't working. It was working until yesterday but it had its own problems before. It would sometimes be stuck and not go down or up. I would have to pull up the window a bit manually before it would work. Then recently i noticed that the window regulator arm was i guess not aligned? as the arm came up and the window was going up, the arm literally was trying to poke out of the door panel. I stopped using that window for a few months. and then the other day i accidently pressed the button and it went down but this time i couldn't get it back up, i could still get the arm to move but it kept getting blocked. Then after a while of figiting... the arm itself won't respond at all... not even budge... did i also just kill the motor?

What would be the problem in the first place that caused everything?

weird the motor started working again... i think my friend had this problem on his honda before, where the motor works sometimes and sometimes not. I guess the motor is going bad as well?

Also would the issue of my problem be a bent regulator? if so i will probably replace the whole regulator with new motor, if not how would i fix this window issue...

It could be the tracks out of alignment or needing grease. You're definitely going to need to take the door panel off to check.

It's also likely the motor is burning out. How does the up/down speed on that window compare with the other windows? Does it make a different noise than the others?

the up/down speed seems to be normal, but sometimes it slows down as its getting obstructed... the arm of the regulator is trying to push through the door panel... it seems most likely that it is out of alignment... ill take the door panel off and try to trouble shoot when i have time... but i rarely have any time off, so it may be not for another few weeks.

Thanks pdq, you've been alot of help to many of my threads.

Yeah the window kept coming off the track on the regulator. However, when i put it back on the track, it would go up normally, but once i press it to go down, it comes off the track (it wont follow the track down) I think there is 2 factors affecting this... a bent regulator and the window lines on the sides need some lube (when i take off the regulator and just let the window drop down, it doesn't drop all the way down and needs a little bit of force to make it go all the way down)

I sprayed some lube into the window frame and it seems to make the window drop quite easily now. However, when i use the power window, it still comes off the regulator track when going down. I guess that means the regulator is bent?
