Hey guys,

2001 Corolla LE 190,000km

I called around some local shops looking for "rear upper strut mounts" and I am finding them for 105$ average. That is for a monroe product with a one year warranty on it.

I've seen them selling for around 45$ on the internet for KYB products. I personally like KYB parts better too.

I would like to buy them online but have never ordered car parts online before. I am looking for someone who has bought stuff from a site before that could point me in a trusted direction.

I just worry about the parts not getting here or getting sent the wrong parts. Should I be worried? Does this happen a lot? How long does it ttake to come in? Any help is great. Also keep in mind that I will need them sent to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

Rockauto.com consistently has the best prices other than ebay and they always ship quick.

Thanks for the site man. I worked great. Good prices and the products got here in 2 days. Crazy fast.

I bought rear upper strut mounts.

Now I was asking a garage to install them and asked how long it takes to do one. The guy said anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half. Is that right? Installed upper strut mounts doesn't seem like it should take that long. Specially since they have all the tools to do the job fast.

You're welcome. I've never had to do it but I believe that's right if I remember correctly from one of fish's posts about it with someone else recently.....possibly on corolland.
