98 corolla LE auto transmission removal, need some help!

Hello everyone,
after owning the corolla for 2 years, my transmission is finally starting to slip into 1st gear, it was slipping in reverse before but never bothered me. Anyhow I am ready to change the tranny, I found a used 98 auto 4 speed LE with 49,000 miles from a local yard for $200 and I am considering just going that route instead of rebuilding my old one (currently the car has 210,000miles)
I was also considering the Lucas Transmission Slip Fix, but I know that there is no such thing as a mechanic in bottle.....
My questions are:
What exactly needs to be disconnected in order to remove the tranny?
I know that I will remove the axles, starter, shifter cable, all the sensors and wires, tranny mount but when It comes to the torque converter bolts should I remove them before I remove the transmission bolts or after?
Does anyone has a good write up on tranny removal? I searched but couldn't find anything.
Thanks!

There are 6 bolts between engine drive plate and torque converter, and they should be removed before you even think about undoing the bolts mating engine and transmission. There is an access cover under the car on engine side, pull it off and you can get at these bolts. If you can't see it or after you remove one, rotate the crank clockwise (use a long ratchet please) to get at the next one. According to FSM one of the bolts is green. Remove that one first and mark where it is.
