Door Sensor Malfunction?

Seems like the sensor is not functioning properly. Sometimes the door light comes on when the door is fully closed. The light would go off if i turn right, but when i turn left, it goes on. So it seems like one of the sensor is becoming faulty? its probably loose? How would one fix this? is it cheap?

Seems like the car is at the point where there seems to be a lot of stuff breaking down.

First double check that the momentary door switches are working correctly. Push the plunger in and see if it moves smoothly. Check for any tears in the rubber cover, see if it is binding up on you.

You can test the switch by removing it from the chassis and disconnecting the electrical connection on the end (make sure to disconnect the battery for any electrical work). Check for continuity between the switch body and the pin on the bottom when the plunger is not pushed in and no continuity when the plunger is depressed.

The plungers or door pins get dirty or corroded. You can usually remove them (1 screw) and take a wire brush and some cleaner to them.
