Turn signal switch

Hello.
I have a 2000 Corolla that's having issues with the turn signals. They frequently blink fast like a bulb is out (no bulbs are out). If I put pressure on the switch, either by pushing in, or just barely moving it, they will function fine. Sometimes if the left signal is blinking normally and I turn the headlights on, it will start blinking twice as fast. I've removed the switch, taken it apart, and cleaned some dirty contacts inside it, which seemed to have helped, but I still have the issues. Any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated.

New switch from a junkyard ($25, plus $2 "admission" fee), and problem solved!

They are easy to take out and clean( grease gets hard, dirty), reassemble with dielectric grease from auto parts store.
While you have it open, turn the copper contact plate around so the contacts touch on a new area.Test with a multi meter before you reinstall and dont use to much new grease. That usually will fix them.
