two different tire sizes

basicaly i was wanting to know if having a pair of 175 65 14 and another pair of 185 65 14 would really affect any thing i personaly dont think so as i havent had problems yet. what do you say? also the a set would be on the front and another on the back not left to right as i know that messes with things.

Speedo is calibrated somewhere in between. Assuming you have no ABS you can run both no problems but like you know NOT 175 on one side and 185 on the other! 175 can tide you over until you can buy two 185 to make a proper set.

Pop the hood and look at your brake booster/master cylinder. That assembly with ABS is much bulkier because the ABS actuator and controller are right underneath it.

ABS also has a wheel speed sensor at each wheel. With tires of different sizes they will sense different speeds at each wheel. I don't know what would happen.

Difference is minimal, but if you have to do it put the wider tires on the front.

Some people reverse stagger the tires on their fwd cars to help the car rotate more easily, but with those sizes I doubt you'll notice anything really.

Yes, that would fit fine. 185 only came stock on the LE model.
