engine and tranny swap projext

Hello everyone. Well I own a oil burning 99 corolla and I was looking at engines to swap with. I was planning on swapping with the scion tc engine and taking off the spindles and rims to do my disk conversion. But that wasn't looking to go. I was also looking at a matrix xrs swap with the tiptronic clutch or the 3sgte swap. I was wondering who has done any of these swaps so I can get some help. By the way, the reason for me swapping is the ening ework. Idk if my piston rings are worn or valve seals but when I step on the car, smoke is all over the place. The job is too complicated and looks like a 3day job. It would be really helpful if one of you guys helped me out with this dilemma on either doing a swap or just fixing the error. Thanks

What you can do is purchase another 1zz-fe and put oversized pistons with the appropriate rings. When it's done, swap it.

But before thinking about swapping, put a small amount of automatic transmission oil into the spark plug hole (with the spark plug removed). You can also try a Rislone treatment. I hope your rings will unstuck.
